T-Shirt Scarf

Take one X-large T-Shirt, Lay it flat and cut the bottom seam off. Cut the t-shirt off just under the arms. The X-Large T-shirt works best because you can make the scarf extra long and fold it double.

Cut the t-shirt in strips leaving the last 2 cm of the t-shirt uncut.

Take each strip and pull it out to allow the t-shirt strips to curl.

Pull all the strips until your scarf looks like this.

Roll your t-shirt scarf into a flat fold.

Handstitch the fold together.

Take a pair of old jeans or any other fabric of your choice. Cut a casing big enough to position over the flat fold of your scarf.

Hand stitch in position.

Cut out a flower from your pair of old jeans.

Position the flower on the casing and hand stitch to the casing. Your scarf is ready to wear.

Bunting from cans

You'll need:
Cleaned food cans
Twine
Tin Shears
Hammer
A piece of scrap wood
Sharp nail

Cut triangles from the cans.
Mark  two spots for the holes to thread the twine. Take your nail and hammer two holes in each triangle.

The triangles will be slightly rounded, softly flatten them with your hammer.

Thread the twine through the triangles.

Make a knot in the twine after you threaded each triangle to prevent the triangles moving closer to one another.

Hang in position in your garden.
